Charlotte Emergency Housing provides each family with a "Welcome Basket" of items they will typically need when they first enter the house.  They can then take these items with them when they move into their own home.

Please note that we cannot accept donations of large furniture items or computers.

If you would like to drop off a donation, we accept items seven days a week anytime between 9:00am-7:00pm.

• Baby care items - wipes, diapers, bottles, diaper bags, pacifiers
  
  
• Men, women and children’s clothing
  
  
• Kitchen items - silverware, dishes, pots, pans, potholders, dishtowels, sponges, Tupperware
  
  
• Linens - sheets, comforters, mattress pads, towels, pillows, blankets
  
  
• School supplies
  
  
• Toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes,toothpaste, feminine hygiene products
  
  
• Cleaning products
  
  
• Laundry detergent and dish soap
  
  
• Paper products - Kleenex; toilet tissue; paper plates, bowls and cups; paper towels
  
• Books, puzzles, toys and outdoor riding toys
  
  
• Children’s movies
  
  
• 35mm and Polaroid film
  
  
• Umbrellas and alarm clocks
