Charlotte Emergency Housing offers residents programs and supportive services to help them move back into their own home.
Our facility (Plaza Place) has 14 individual rooms and bathrooms for families, kitchen facilities, laundry facility, food pantry and computer lab. In addition, our shelter has an on-site child care center (Rainbow Room) that can take up to 12 children from birth through age five and before-school and after-school through age 12. Rainbow Room can accomodate families living at Plaza Place, with parents working on first or second shift.
Charlotte Emergency Housing offers services including social work case management, nursing services, family counseling and life skills training for our residents. Social workers also provide transitional services to families for one year after they leave Plaza Place.
